Hi does anyone know were I can get a timing belt and tensioner for my 14 j engine I'm looking but would be easier if someone has already done it so I can stright to it as mine snapped yesterday on its first time out thanks

14J was Taxi engine pretty sure it is the same as 15J Sherpa van engine as regards timing here are some numbers
It is 1" wide and has 124 teeth
Cam belt numbers are:-
POWER TRAIN PMTB79
CONTINENTAL STD9928M24
GOODYEAR (NEW NOS) 124RHP254
LBU 1200 (from LDV)
QTH 175

Sorry I do not have the part number
Do you have the Workshop Manual for the engine .Comparing 15J and 12J manuals the 15J tensioner looks like the 12J one to me. Belts are the same width but different lengths due to the extra idler.
Whats the idler pulley like for wear.

The tensioner don't seem bad no play so I might get away with it but would of been nice to change just for piece of mind
