Its got to be the TDI mate for eco! Even with lpg itl still be around 12-15mpg (was in mine)

Swapped it to a 200tdi and im getting at least double now! Its great!
 
I agree, a carbed V8 in a fender on LPG isn't going to realistically achieve much more than 13mpg. Mine did 11! :eek:

The fuel consumption on a 130 which is likely to be carrying lots of weight is going to be astronomical. Stick that Tdi in and be glad :)

I should think it will be fine, shouldn't be too much of a problem unless you're gonna be carrying really heavy loads or towing heavy trailers often, where the lower transfer box might give the engine less of a hard time.
