Hi guys. Can anyone help me get my hands on a shovel and pick ax that fits to the door of my defender 110? I've been watching ebay for a set but to no joy. Any suggestions?

Ideal if you're lucky someone'll nick em. If you're unlucky they'll use em to smash your side window and nick the rest of your stuff too.

any old pick head fits on that wing nut , then a folding or short rigid shovel is about a tenner from a propper army surpluss,

but as hughesy says, it will cause yer more trouble than its worth , unless yer thinkin of painting them and welding them on the hooks fer good !

Go to any of the landy shows this year and you will pick them up. I got mine from the SW show late last year. sanded them down and wood varnished them :) looks the bollix on my 2a lightweight.

alternatively ring anchor supplies, but i imagine delivery will be the same price as the tools (£10-£15).

not a great pic of mine, but its all i got.

your spare wheels very thin

your spare wheels very thin

not much thinner than the 7.50 XCLs on the lightweight

forgot to give this link: index

these are your guys for the raised legs/brackets etc. If you do go to a show though to get the tools, these bits are usually around to.

got a better pick (no pun) of the tools and cannot resist showing off my lightweight  :D

was checking out that link Griff, they got nato green paint. Is that good stuff, I have heard about it on here before. do you have to do much prep work on the landy to paint it with this stuff. I assume this is tough paint, as used on landies.

also heard about these landrover shows things. do they ever come down to the East of England, Norfolk?
