110 roof Compatibility

Hi .
I have a 1987, ex military, 110 soft top. I would like to convert it to a hard top. The only tops that I have seen for sale are from later models. Mainly td5's.
Would a later model roof fit my vehicle, or are the connection points,etc, different on later defenders.

From my understanding the side panels and roof remained the same for the whole of production and the side panels were "the same" as series vehicles as well (swb series fit 110 station wagon). It is only the lengths that change so as long as you can find sides that fit and a matching roof for your windscreen frame then you can fit any mix match from across the model years.
