Hi, I,m considdering getting rid of my td5 and replacing it with a mecedes 2,5 td with inter, would like some thoughts and comments .

is it possible, or do you know a better sollution?

It,s on it last legs ,tired of replacing parts engine has done 400000km

and I knew some one who refitted mecs in landi,s but never herd of a 2,5 td being hooked up to landi box my reason is .the 2,5td is indestuctable.
and because of its drive chain , low maintenace

so if you know if it can be done or if you know of a better sollution please tell me

a nouther reason for a better engine is
I,ve got a trip planed for next year, to india and want to get there and back without hassel

cummins 6bt, zf5-42, atlas transfer box and landcruiser 80 axles but the cummins will eventually rip the chassis without plating and you will loose 300kg of carrying capacity
