Why do you think Land Rover installed disc in the front & drums in the rear?
Xmod of which has larger brake in front.
Saved me from a accident must be good.

I think the changeover point for the front brakes was 1993. Prior to that the 110 had 46mm pistons and the 90 had 41mm. Afterwards, everything got the 46mm pistons.

The ones I used were much large callipers with much bigger pads similar to these
