Hello

I have a '74 S3 109 station wagon that originally seated 12 persons (two front-facing rows and two inward-facing in the back). Unfortunately I can not use the back rows any longer (regulations), and the second row is missing, so I am looking to install it again.

I am looking for answers to two questions:
Does anyone have pictures of the installation of these rows? I am trying to decide what modifications I might have to make to my car to get those seats in. Given that the row is missing I am not certain if other things have been changed.
Does anyone have a good address to get all the required components, ideally packaged? The best price I have found thus far is Britcar where the entire setup would cost around 1000 pounds (new). These things appear to be very hard to find, also second hand...

Any help is highly appreciated!

Cheers,
Andreas

There are three separate seats in the 12 seater version. If you look in the parts book you'll see the numbers and the fixings. As far as I know there isn't a replacement kit that will do everything but you might get quite close with a company such as Exmoor trim. (Don't expect it to be cheap though)

On the whole I think you'd be better off buying second hand or ditching the whole 12 seater originality and going for the single bench seat instead.

If you want a few pictures of the 12 seater version I have a few pictures at the start of my series 2a thread that might help => https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/1965-series-2a-station-wagon-in-holland.298002/

Wow. I am only slightly north of impressed by your project. Seriously cool work!

Thans for the tips. I tried to compose a shopping list from the parts book - there really only are about 10 critical pieces, as far as I can tell. The rest are nuts and bolts and washers. A single bench might be simpler, but I was also not really able to find anything - the one from the parts book (2K 02) is much harder to find than the three single seats, and the sellers I did find ask quite a lot. Or maybe I just have not yet found the right place.
I think I would be fine with a single bench, provided it can be folded down.

Yeah, I dont know how I managed to miss this post until now - I found it 30 minutes ago and am negotiating with the seller. Thanks anyway!
Of course if you have a good network in the NL then that would be very helpful as well!
