PROVISIONALLY SOLD
For sale Landrover 109 , just recently fully refurbished , full build and run down here :

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/79-109-hartop-camper-build.364546/

Hundreds of hours and a fair wedge of cash spent to ake this a good solid clean and reliable old landrover .

Tax and MOT exempt but more than happy to MOT for any buyer if required .

I would have been happy to use this every day but I had to buy something a wee bit more economical when my old fella took unwell so now the landy just isnt being used ..

This is a good clean solid landrover, fully stripped repaired properly from its original chassis and rebuilt .
Ive had a few landrover folk drive this and they have all been impressed by how well it drives.

Please have a read of the post to appraise yourself of the vehicle and the project as a whole .

let down with sale and now currently removed from the market .
Landy is located in North East Scotland .

cheers for now..

one of those things ..I took my old fella to the docs then straight to hospital, 10 hours later he had a pacemaker fitted.. He is fine now but at 86 he does need a bit more attention , garden work, a bit of cleaning and all the rest . I live 20 miles away so doing that in the land rover wasn't working so bought a Toyota AYGO for a few quid and can go there as often as I need to for pennies ..

Anyhoo, its a sacrifice but its for the good :)

Thank you, Its been valued by other land rover folk between £12000 and £15000, Ive priced it realistically leaving enough in it for any purchaser to make any improvements or even complete the transformation to a camper .. Im not a dealer , just an average dude with a genuine interest in building stuff. Its no secret, my first love are my period style hot rods , The Land rover was a great project that I really enjoyed doing . but with a Classic camper van that the wife wont let me part with, one hot rod on the road and another in part build, im stretching it a bit . The Aygo has been a saviour the past month or so. :)

Its a good honest landrover I believe its realistically priced considering the rebuild cost and time. Deserves a good home and a bit of love :)

Its right at home in the Angus Glens and the Cairngorms National Park, It would be a great old thing for a local Farmer, much more robust and reliable than an electronically managed supercar on a 4x4 platform and around £50,000 cheeper :)

BUMP :) Has barely turned a wheel since add placed . Love it to bits but unfortunately I dont use it often enough, starts first time every time ( thats jinxed that then) and drives realy well for a classic landrover ,not at all choppy or harsh .. to many new parts on it to mention no bodges or patchwork genuine conciencious build by experienced car builder/ restorer / modifier.
Having upped the add I now feel the need to take it out for a run tommorrow. :) This would convert to a great weekender for a fisherman, hillwalker, mountain biker, etc .. comfy seats drives great even has a chinese eberspacher copy cab heater .. If you doubt the integrity of the build check out the link to the rebuild and see just how extensive it was .. then consider the hours involved, add on the parts prices and the cost of a base vehicle and you will realise its actually a bargain ..:)

Provisionally sold . typicaly though Ive been using it a fair bit since last post, and loving it .. Thank you to all for the interest and compliments on the old landy . If the sale doesnt go ahead I will contact each party in turn, however I dont envisage there being any problem with the current offer .

Many thaks

The sale was supposed to have gone through in October. Having had several interested enquiries I contacted the "buyer" a fella I know well and let him know I had interest and asked if he was still having it . He told me he was and that he should have the funds from a house sale within a few weeks . The deal was still scheduled for October . I gave him first turn, told him I had other buyers interested he assured me it was a done deal. Its now its the last week in November and he's gone deathly quiet . Im a bit annoyed at him and that's putting it mildly, but now its close to winter I think im just going to let him know hes no longer in the picture, now or in the future unless he puts the money where his mouth is. Im more disappointed I had to turn other folk down.

With winter fast approaching Ive decided I might as well just hang onto it for now. Perhaps its fate !

Please send me a message if you decide to sell it again.
l will not mess you about, l will tell you straight away if l want it or not. Hoping to get a small inheritance after Christmas which might be enough to buy this Land Rover.

Did you fit the replacement engine?
