I have a 1982 converted ambulance in France, changed from UK plates. It hasn't run since 2017 and in the end started backfiring and hard to start. Since then been stored in the dry.
Did a compression test back in 2017, apparently more in a garden strimmer!! Had the carbs checked which were all ok.
I am guessing that the heads are worn due to LPG. I am looking to put my truck back on the road/track and would like to find the right components that withstand the heat of LPG.
Can anyone help me please as to where to start/find infomation.
It is possible for me to come over to the UK to source the parts.
