Unless you had only been on the road a couple of minutes, you need to sort your engine temp out something wrong there.

i know,iv got a new thermostat to go on,it was about -5 outside when the pic was taken so that doesnt help,it does go a bit higher.

ah well I got 400 miles on 2 gallons in my 4.6 hse after it broke and was recovered by the RAC
