100,000km today!

My odometer just rolled over onto 100,000 this morning as I parked at work - but my speedo is in km/h for some reason so its 100,000km rather than miles!
Just over 60k miles doesnt seem to bad for a 1992 200Tdi 90.
Anyone know why it might have a speedo in kmh in it rather than mph?
 
If it's a 200 tdi then it's just about run in. Now ready for some serious motoring. Mine has about 150,000 recorded miles. No idea what it has actually done. But still going strong. It's done several trips across Morocco and almost ready to go again in the spring.
 
On a 1992 that's a ridiculously low mileage, I would take it with a pinch of salt!

My 1992 90 is on 245,000 at last check. Or 394,000 kilometres if you're French.

Maybe, but it does happen.
My 89 90 is on 125k genuine miles. It was on 99k when I bought it in 2008! :) I have all the mots and tax discs, and service history since 92! :cool:
