Its not got a military rear cross member but the seller alludes to a rear X member change which may explain. The engine isn't military (it would be painted duck egg blue). The sellers description looks quite honest. Its difficult to tell if its a genuine 1 ton. The fact the engine doesn't look original doesn't help but again there could be an explanation. There's something about it that's not right that I can't quite pin down. I looks military but somehow it isn't. The truck cab is not a military feature.

Not sure about a military truck cab and a 2.6. However if the v5 matches the numbers it's a good start. New chassis and a good overhaul then you'll have a decent vehicle.

Engines only ended up "Duck egg blue" after re-furb ....

Six pot bulkhead and engine BUT cant see any military commission plate, rear tub fill so no twin tanks,no six way lighting,Mili lights etc
Military/Combat chassis sits very much like a 1 ton chassis BUT has lots of detail chassis details and a low ratio box and different ratio steering (900x16 tyres on a six pot)
Could be genuine, could equally be a mix and match of bits done over the years ???

Chassis number and inspection of chassis would be the only way to really decipher what it is /was
