These are these symptoms. 4.0 thor
On start up the car revs to 2000-2500. If I then put into gear quickly drops to 1500.
Erratic tick over and fault code for misfire now and again.
o2 oxygen sensor output volts:
bank 1 0.455 v with no change when reving
bank 2 0.000 with no revs and changes very slightly on rev up
Are both faulty or just one or another problem.
short term fuel trim stays at 25% on both banks

Just ordered 2 new o2 sensors. am I barking up the wrong tree ? No Ruff running jokes please LOL

You should see between 0 volts and .8 cycling between the two every 1 second or so when at operating temperature. What's the MAF reading on idle ?

I read your other thread, you are wasting your time.......with the worn cam lobe you have you will not get your fuel trim sorted.

Well new lamdas in. I can see that its fueling a lot leaner as the fuel mpg shot up to 20-24mpg . I still have very rough idle and its up and down. It must be a plug as i have magnacors in. I've pulled a plug off 7 and no difference. Plug off 5 no difference
Plug off 3 no difference and the same with 1. The other bank is tight as i have the vapouriser above it so will renew plugs in the morning.
What will a faulty cam sensor do . Are they an on off job as its come up with fault codes once for it . If all fails its off to the indy down the road.

Just another thought.
Is the cam sensor magnetic, as the swarf from the knackered tappet would cause a break down in signal. It revs fine just the tickover
Ive just read another thread about cleaning swarf off the sensor
any input on this
