I’m having a right mare getting the two front bolts to line up with the chassis in the seat box. See photos.
The holes are M8 but is that what was in there I wonder? I’ve got a sneaking suspicion they’re all M6. Can anyone confirm?

This one went in with a wedge and a persuader.

but this one is nowhere near…

Any ideas? I’ve loosened all the rear screws, and the tub has to go where it is.
Cheers

What are the holes like in your chassis, are they not square? I'm pretty sure mine was fixed with plastics plugs in to which fitted big screws. I replaced my screws with stainless ones. I'll look for a picture.

No, I can just see a bolt in this picture from my rebuild pictures

You can also see one of the big, cross head, screws I thought it was. I might have a few of those bolts left in the garage, I'll go and have a look.

So they’re M6 and not M8. I guess the 8mm hole
is to allow for some standard LR misalignment then. Thanks for that - most helpful. I appreciate it.
No bother mate. Here's a picture from the parts manual. I reckon it's part No14

It's a flanged bolt, so able to cope with the 8mm hole.
