HDC issue after changing radio head unit

Hey guys I have a 58 plate freelander 2 all was fine, just change the sat nav and put in a android unit which is working fine, but I now have HDC fault come up on the dash with a warning triangle, was thinking maybe battery ? Any ideas

Could well be the battery - a low / duff one is known to throw the fault.
How old is the battery / did you drain it whilst doing the head unit switch?
 
If the battery is more than 4 years old, then it's likely below the power requirement needed to start the engine without data packets being lost.
 
So I have changed the battery and I still have the HDC and traction control fault showing on the dash, it was all working fine until I changed the radio head unit

Did you knock the wires on the back of the traction selection mode / hdc control perhaps, when doing your radio? Though I’m unsure if that would throw the warning. Worth a look, assuming the issue is connected to your radio change.
Retrace your steps.

Checked the Haldex fuse, in the boot? If that’s gone, it will definitely throw that message. Unconnected to your radio work, but worth a 1 minute check, just in case.
