From a completely unscientific, uneducated, uniformed, but ocd point of view, that looks like it should go on the off side to me. It would appear back to front on the near side I reckon. So shiny

Handed discs. Must get right way around!
Wow. No instructions and many you tubes that contradict !!
Most say slots sloping to rear of car.
Some say slots facing forward to cut into the pad in direction of travel !!
Anyone have definitive answer please?
Seems they want it facing the front of the car... beats me as to why, but I'd go with what they say, they manufacture them after all, not meView attachment 345529
So according to supplier they should be as red stripes. So the one in the photo is fitted wrong.
If I understand the majority replies above, this would mean the opposite to the views presented.
Am I understanding correctly??
I like drilled and grooved rotors, as the "bite" better than plain rotors.New vented, grooved discs fitted. Ceramic grease where needed. All brake dust cleaned out. Wheels cleaned too !!
See how it goes. Was quiet on test drive. Need to bed them in for a few hundred miles.

How are your's performing Andy? I have the same ones in my Ebay basket and I'm poised to "buy now"Indeed.
The only useful advice I have found is the cooling vanes direction is important and the photos in the post above with curved grooves breaking out of the edge require a specific direction. The ones I fitted did not have a groove that cut the edge of the disc.
Good stuff. Have you noticed any improvement over what I have always felt are fairly mediocre brakes on the FL1Still quiet, that's the main thing !!
No noticeable increase in noise and brakes work fine. Not had any 'performance braking' yet because I don't want to glaze these as well !!
I've never had any worries. I've just always felt they are not as good brakes on other vehicles I've drivenNot yet but not used in anger.
Never had worries about brakes on the F1.
Check the calipers are free and slides are free as this reduces brake pad force applied.
Given the diameter of the discs vs the diameter of the wheel and the weight of the vehicle, they seem rather under-specified. The 2001 mini, for instance (he says, looking outside for an example) is several hundred kilos lighter, with smaller wheels but bigger discs, and the demands on it are not so high (eg no towing, not much load capacity).I've never had any worries.
