My crazy diff ratio change idea

Actually the "157,213 to 1" was simply based on the fact that no one on this forum seems to know the answer, and that is the number of forum members !! There was absolutely nothing in that post either negative or positive towards anyone, not even you.

OMG I could find a 15-year-old that understands that if Google says something then you can just follow links to more in-depth articles to get the full information.

The image that I showed you first told you that the 2.76 diff came from the 4.4 TDV8 engine from the 2010 to 2013 model years.

All you had to do is put that information into Google and you would've found more in-depth articles with more information.

And since you were desperate to know this information and I didn't care about it, I made it clear that you could look it up yourself.

But since you attacked me for not giving you the answer, I showed you how you could find the information in 10 seconds on Google with a simple screenshot.

If you do not understand how Google works and you do not know how to follow the threads of a Google search to get the more detailed information that you want, please do not blame me for your lack of knowledge.

And remember, this is information that you wanted, that I did not want to spend my time giving to you because it was not relevant to my question, it was only relevant to you.

And when I explained that to you rather than accepting this situation you have attacked me for it over and over and over again.

But I don't owe you an answer to your question, and I made it clear that I wasn't interested in spending my time answering your question that you could solve yourself in 10 seconds on a Google search.

If it upsets you that I am not your servant then I don't have anything else to say to you.
My document from JLR for the TDV8 8speed 2011 does not agree.
Now if that’s wrong I am fine to know that. I only questioned your source.

But insulting comments towards me for asking a question, puts the shoe on the other foot as you are supposed to have such mechanical knowledge.

Never said it wasn’t possible. I was trying to find out if it was to help you.

J

I almost forgot to tell you, on another forum where I asked the same question, somebody responded that a friend of his did something very similar to what I have thought to do.

He said that it worked fine and the only issue was the slight reduction in acceleration.

But as I have stated, I don't have a problem with that side effect, so it has been confirmed that it is a good idea, not a crazy idea.
So if you knew the answer already why the FECK did you come on her and bother us about it?

Just use Google, make a more detailed search, and you will find the answer.

I have seen them available for sale on eBay with that ratio and I have mentioned that fact in my comments on this thread.

For the love of God just do the research yourself and if you spent more time on that research than you have spent arguing with me, you would already have the answer.

I even shared the answer of which particular Range Rover they are from.

That narrows your search down immediately and saves you 10 seconds.

Please do not ask me to waste my time teaching you how to do a Google search, ask your nieces or nephews.

I really don't know if you are mentally challenged or not, but I did not know the answer until today, a few hours ago, by asking the same question on two different forums.

So are you suggesting that three days ago I should have gone forward in time three days, got the answer, and then come back to the present and realized that I didn't need to post the question that gave me the answer?

But if I did that, by not posting the question in the present, would the answer have been there three days in the future, or not?

With your attitude you are really lucky that anyone on here has spent any time doing any research.
Now be a good lad, go and find your new diffs, fit them and jog on to Portugal.
May your God go with you.

Now go away and play at being a mechanic!

Google search "buy l322 diff 2.76" and you will see that they exist (see the image).

As I have already said before, I do not care where they come from, I do not even care if they come from a BMW X5, because I need to put it in my car, not take it out of another car.

As you are the only one who cares where they come from, you can do the research yourself, because I already know they exist.

I only asked you originally which vechile. from your google “knows everything “ where it mentions “option” and then it states “in the rear” which of course really helps.

Now for me as a technical type of guy I questioned that against my official JLR documentation.

But you just said do a search and find it yourself. So who’s treating who like a numpty? Me?

You are so ridiculously stupid, I can't even begin to understand what it must be like to live inside your head.

It was a comment designed to imply that I would never find the answer, because I had said I would just wait to see if someone would have the answer other than yourselves who did not have the answer.

You were implying that I was an idiot for thinking that I would get the answer by waiting, when I got the answer by waiting.

I think maybe it would have been a better idea to ask the same question on every single Landy forum you could find then gone away for a week before looking on those forums to see if anyone else had done it. Rather than wasting your time having constant goes with those on here who initially tried to help you, until you got all sensitive took your ball away and had little hissy fits all over the place.
You've got your answer, so why stay on here?

YES!!!

Oh no, hurty words.

As this thread was mine that I created I would suggest that you should leave?

Given that you and others said that this idea was crazy, and that I would almost certainly not get my answer here, and you were all wrong on both counts, I would suggest that you guys should leave with your tail between your legs, or be adult men and admit that you were wrong.

That would be the most stupid thing to do because people ask questions and interact to come to a final conclusion, as they have done elsewhere with me on this topic.

And besides, once the idiots here came with their condescending patronizing remarks it became so funny to stay here and interact with them.

And with you being one of them, it has been hilarious to continue interacting with you, which is why I am still here.

If you look at the attached image it shows the specific vehicle that it comes from.

This took me one minute to find using a simple Google search.

Maybe the issue is not me, it is your understanding of how to use Google?
