Hello everyone,

I did my research, but couldn't find a pined thread about gearbox oil for our FL, which seems quite an issue for many as Texaco is difficult to find in some places and the only one recommanded by LR in the manual.

I live in La Réunion island, and I have to deal with fluid I can find locally.
I couln't find any alternate references found on here becauses suppliers have different brands arount here.

I found that IGOL ATF Multi specify is compatible with vehicule when manufacturer refers to theses specs : "Texaco ETL-7045E (BMW7045E), Texaco ETL-8072B and Texaco N402 (JATCO)".
Seems right, what do you think ?

Not cheap, though, 96€ for 5L, but everything is expensive here, and it will last many years.

Specification : see pdf attached

I'm pretty sure for the IRD, but a last check up would confort me..
here is what I found : Total Traxium 8FE 80W90, certified GL5 + MT1

Engine oil, easier choice : ACEA A3 + B3 from Norauto (french brand which uses oil from other compagnies and rebrand them. I believe these oil are from Total).
LR manual do not specify "fully synth" or "half-synth". Does ACEA A3/B3 alway is 100% synth ?
