Valve Block rebuild

Morning Gents,

Is anyone able to carry out valve block repairs for a 2000 P38 4.6 V8? My vehicle holds air at maximum height overnight when locked, but if I don’t raise it, it drops to entry height. I’ve recently replaced the air compressor and had the airbags checked, so I suspect the issue is with the more frequently used valves in the block. I’ve seen adverts for rebuilt valve blocks in the past and wanted to ask if any members offer this repair service.

Why would it be the valve block? as it uses the same valves in any height.
It could be a leaky bag(or 2) that has a minor split that closes when in extended but opens in normal.

If you pull the relay under the passenger seat when you park it up then any leaky corner will drop but the rest will not move, it may help show whats actually leaking.

Many peeps have done it themselves (even me ) succesfully, its not difficult if you are half handy.

Thanks for the info, I jumped on the valve block as it doesn't move when parked overnight or over the weekend when in extended height and locked. I i leave it in any other height it drops to entry height. The suggestion that an airbag could be leaking but not when extended may be plausible.

I will try the relay suggestion.

Don't forget it checks it's own height over the time it is locked.
If your parked on anything other than level ground it'll always try to even itself out.

Not if the relay is out though.
I am also guessing/assuming the comparison is being made parking in the same place

When you say "it drops to entry height", do you mean it stays up overnight, and then drops to Access or Standard when you start the car ? If so it's not a valve block issue.
