Series 3 Rear step options

I need to fit a rear step as I’m using the tow ball to get in and expect I’ll shin myself at some point. I thought I’d buy a S3 rear step but it won’t fit due to the towing plate. I could get the wide step that clamps to the tow hit, or I could get the Wolf step. The problem being neither belong on the S3.

Has anyone got a suggestion, I’d like to fit the folding step tbh.

The folding step is what was/is seen on series safari models. STC7632 is one for defender but should fettle and look fine on series.

I can find the S3 steps however because of the tow plate I cannot anchor to the captive nuts. It’s a new crossmember I could fit new rivnuts I suppose.

This is the one I have on mine. I know it is not strictly a Series 3 step but I think it looks ok and it acts as a useful rear bumper.

I’m leaning towards this as a solution. I have seen S3 with the right hand side cut off.

I only have the single side on my 110, you can buy them just as a single. I also bent mine so it does not act as bumper but the towball is the furthest rear point which is more robust than the step if you do hit anything.
