Yes, so i turned on the switch which lights up and then i got up to speed and pressed the set + and i let go of the accelerator but nothing happened. Was expecting it to maintain that speed or at least feel some kind of trottle response ?Silly question! But have you turned on the switch at the dash???

Your D3 must be differentAs above! Check the pedal assembly, to check that the actuator is engaging when working the pedals?

I had a problem with my pedals! Water had come in and screwed the main pedal shaft! So the actuator was not engaging with the cruise control or the brake light! Because of the rust around the shaft (see picYour D3 must be differentif set, the cruise control will disengage if the brake or clutch pedal is pressed.
Go with nanocom In BCU - Settings - Alarm/others - 4'th page and make sure that Cruise control appears as "Enabled"so i retrofitted the cruise control on my 03 disco. all looked fine and i can see on nanocom that the switch works. however the Set + button doesnt seem to be doing anything? what am i misisng? how can i check if the switch is maybe faulty?
i hope this is a bingo, the setting was not enabled. will have a go tomorrow and report. thanks for nowGo with nanocom In BCU - Settings - Alarm/others - 4'th page and make sure that Cruise control appears as "Enabled"
so this is part of the accelerator pedal right? is there any way i can test if this is my problem without getting the pedal apart?I had a problem with my pedals! Everything checks out. On the next page there is also the resume and set accelerate inputs and those also seem to be registering
100% valid point however i also travel to continental europe or africa and there cruise control is very convenient. This a photo from my latest adventure in the saharaJust a bit of a side issue....
Knowing how small and overpopulated Malta is, I a wondering what you need it for.
I use mine on motorways mostly for comfort's sake, and N roads, (the equivalent of A roads) to avoid getting tickets, and occasionally in town to avoid getting done for speeding, but I have to keep reswitching it on, obviously.
