Discovery 2 nanocom suggestions

I have had enough of paying a fortune to find and reset faults on the old girl- it's costing me far too much money when I can fix problems in my spare time.

So I have the typical 3 amigos, I have an ABS warning light and most frustrating of all, an immobiliser that has activated and won't let me start the bleeding thing. (I know about EKA keys, but I also need to program two new keys).

Sooo... pretty evident why I'm looking at a Nanocom.

Is there different variants of the Nanocom or is it a Nanocom is a Nanocom type thing?

The nanocom is the game between models but you buy different unlock codes. You can buy a second hand one, transfer ownership then buy the codes you need from the online store. You also need to make sure you have the right colour cable for your car

So in essence, you buy a nanocom then buy the codes for specific vehicles? for instance I'd need to purchase a Discovery 2 TD5 pack?

Would that include full access coding?

If you buy it new from the online shop, it comes with the unlock codes and the cables you need

Correct, I have two Land Rovers... Because I didn't think life was stressful enough (but I have to say, the Defender gives me far less problems)

I bought a second hand one from this forum as it was already has Discovery td5 installed it worked perfect, and I have the option to add more packs if I ever need them,
