Looking for a back street garage specialising in series Land rovers, Defenders and classics Range rovers. I live in Brentford West London. Not got out of my depth yet but good to have a garage recommendation if things go badly wrong.

Pah, it's only a Series and you have us at LZ. Or, bring your old bus out of the smoke heading West for ~1hr and visit Yattendon Garage. Mark there is a Land Rover Loon

Try the place on the corner of Commerce Road and the High Road, almost opposite the Northumberland Arms.
Can't remember what it is called at the moment, there are two businesses in the same building, both run by the same chap.
One deals more with luxury cars, the other is a regular garage.

Great, thanks for that. I’m going to fit a new thermostat this week Hopefully that will cure my overheating V8. Nice to have a back up though.

I go there pretty often. Good moorings, facilities, lots of shops, easy access to my parents via E8.
That garage changed the discs and brake pads on my Mondeo earlier in the year.
Run by an Indian chap, he is an old school mechanic, and still works long hours in the garage as well as running the place.

No I haven't but it won't be long coz I'm at the end of my tether with this vehicle! Got a fueling issue ( i think ) now. Runs lovely on tick over, drives for about 40 mins and then starts farting about. Then breaks down! I'm fitting a fuel preassure guage this weekend but after that my ideas have run out!

Good luck! I seem to have something happen which sounds slightly similar, have twin tanks, been told maybe change over valve is allowing air in to the fuel system :/
