Hi all!

Having some problems with my cdl.

Yesterday I tried to unlock the car, but it didn't work. Tried the spare key, no luck.

Next I broke in & tried to start it -> No problem witch starting. Tried to lock again, nothing happend.

Found a blown fuse in de battery box, changed it. Locking the car worked, but when I tried to unlock it, the fuses blew again.

Checked the wiring at all the doors but didn't find anything worrying. After this the fuse kept blowing instantly.

Checked the connections at the AS10 module and the pink wire had a short circuit.

Some fiddling later, the short circuit was gone & the fuse was still ok.

Tried to lock and unlock, hazards going but doors won't lock. I can hear the clicking in the module when I use the fob, but nothing happens.

When I use the nanocom I also hear clicks from the module but the doors won't lock.

Anyone experienced this before? Or has an idea what else I can check?

TIA

Hi,

I am a fellow sufferer, in my case, the AS10 is permanently trying to lock the doors with a screaming noise. now the immobilizer is engaged every now and then. didnt find any broken wires at all. bought a nanocom didnt have any faults inside.

my question is how did you found out the pink wire (which I suspect as well) had a short circuit ? did you dimantle the upper dash ? where did it have the short circuit, right on the connector ?

sorry for asking, your post is a while ago, just looking for any advice.
