Classic Lost left rear tail light, clearance light and license plate light all at once.

So I spotted a duff light this morning (rear tail light) so I swapped the bulb to no avail. Checked the plug in connector for that set of bulbs and it was fine.Then I noticed the little clearance light and the plate light was out, as well. My version of rave is of little help as far as tracing circuits. Do any body know if this grouping of lights is connected?

Did you check the new bulb? Is there power at the connector? And is the ground ok, I know you're across the Pond but can you translate clearance light?? Years since I owned a Classic and struggling to remember.

If memory serves well, the left rear lights and rear plate lights are on the same wiring loom. I don't have my manuals near me, otherwise I could look it up. I'll be with them next week, but hopefully some else will be faster.

Checked the bulb and the connector is good. I'm going to go searching for the ground when I get home fro work. Oh, the clearance light is the little light that can be seen from the side of the car.

Ah. Should have asked before.
I expect that will be on the RAVE disc - not something I still have as it's too late for mine.
My manual only goes up to 1989 so I guess yours is one of the very late (last?)classics.

Ah, if its a 1995 my manuals are no good. They cover up to 85.

That's the version I have, I think. Today is my day off so I'm going really scour it today, but so far I can't find a schematic.

My aged eyes don't help much.

Well, I've found the schematic on my version of RAVE. It seems that the lights that are out share a ground with the fuel pump and center brake light, both of which are working....

That's where I'm going next, when it gets above freezing outside.

Well it appears that my mechanical acumen led me to the side lights at the end of the tunnel. After going through electrical diagrams I noticed a fuse for "left side lights". Found that fuse, pulled it and it was fine. Sh!t.
After fiddling and cussing, I finally got the fuse back in its place and walked away.
Turns out the connection must have been corroded. Now the lights work.
