Buying advice

Good evening!
I'm looking at buying a landy to tow my daughter's horse, I've got a £5k budget so looking at 03/04 plates - is this a good year? people keep warning me about reliability issues so a little scared!!
I'm looking for advice as to what model (would prefer leather seats, sun roof and privacy windows, but not essential!) but what do I need to check/ask about? What is likely to go wrong and possible costs?

I thought that was where "no specific vehicle, just general help and advice across the LR range" was always best handled? ;-)

I'm with you. No specific vehicle,but should have leather seats, privacy glass, sunroof, is definitely best asked in Anything Goes.
