Evening guys

Iv got a 57 plate (2008 ) RRS 2.7 iv got to get the rear strut replaces as its leaking but when i check.for the right parts its stating will only fit the vehicle without the A.C.E. system
How can i tell if mine has this or not

Many.thanks

ACE (active cornering enhancement) may be on early RRs but think Sport has DR (Dynamic Response) ?
Sorta same thing but it isn’t.
Part of the ‘dynamic package’ on an HSE.
You should replace struts in pairs

I have sent the seller my registration so.hopefully they will be able to check that way
I will replace the both rear at the same time.

Hi

have u got an owners manual, as it will show u ur ace top up container under the bonnet, think it on the left hand side by the front

If I may add , please ensure u follow the set procedure when replacing struts, inc axle is a must and indeed replace as a pair

also if you’ve just bought this ensure the belt and oil pump cover has even done

hope that helps

Theres always a snagging list to get through , but once u do will be ale to enjoy it more

hope that’s helps

Also if it helps I’ve replaced my struts, Plse let us know if I have ACE or not

also then what prices you’ve been looking at as there are companies out there that’s cheaper

personally when I done mine I fitted new drop links, if u do , don’t buy cheap ones as they’ve been known to snap, I used Meyle heavy duty which have a good name

Shame ur not closer otherwise I would have given u a hand

You been a great help to me so far on here. Appreciate it alot.

I do all my own spannering as nobody tidy about.
How I ended up here, the members know their stuff and have helped me through every issue.

My mate is an Indy that’s into LRs so if I get stuck go to him.
Best bet Is find a local that knows your model RR in particular, and a trustworthy motorfactor close enough to walk to just incase.
