Towing L322

I know its not the best option but is it safe to tow a L322 TD6 for 3 miles and what would be the best way todo this without causing any damage if possible?

On the p38 Automatic you have to put a fuse ,mimimum 5 amp ,in number 11 position (I think) this puts the transfer box in neutral check in your manual or in Rave for the 322.

Or pull the halfshafts on the drive axle/s

Much Easier, quicker and alot cleaner just getting the transfer box into neutral

Surely if your towing it, the damage is done?
It's not the gearbox is it

They are much more reliable if towed, better still on the back of a recovery truck, more fuel efficient too
