Loch Lomond Area

Hello all,

Anyone know of any good places to go off-roading (either 'legal' tracks or even a pay-and-play site) within an hour or so of Loch Lomond?

Not having much luck searching, the only thing I have found reference to (and of seemingly positive legality) is the route from Brig o'turk going up Glen Finglas and around Meall Cala - here - Any experience of this?

Would be grateful of any advice - even PMs if you prefer.

In Scotland, are there Access Officers like in England? I know there aren't technically unsurfaced rights of way in Scotland (ie Greenlanes) but it seems that there are accepted 'land rover tracks' (to quote directly from various sources)
