Sure,

I have only got the explorer maps for memory map. however the coordinates seems to take you to the same place. I now know the area but am unsure which road/track you need to take. Is it labeled on the ranger map??

The Wayfarer is a pass over The Berwyns from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog via Nant Rhyd Wilym and over the top at Pen Bwlch Llandrillo (2000ft) then down into the Dee Valley north of Llandrillo...

follow the BOAT's -+-+-+-+- or RUPP's.

isnt the wayfarer written alongside one of the tracks?

Mate thanks for your help on this. Its driving me mad (and not in a good way!). Im starting to think that maybe my map is out of date or something.

Im looking around the area and there are no Rupps or Boats marked. All I can find are footpaths/bridalways and Other Roads with Public Access. (Marked with green dots)

I am trying to upload an image - if it works can you tell me if the road in the middle is the wayfarer?

Thanks once again

well that didnt work..... ill try again

its all legal but some of its a boat other route ORPA, on the north west end there is 4 access routes, they join up to make 2 routes to the summit.

Keep to the main track, i've been told the hobby bobbies are sitting out of sight on one of the mud runs with video cameras, they won't stop you but you get a visit and a section 59 some time later.

Same with the summit, the odd landy sits there but a camera is running, keep to the track park close or just off the track don't mud run. The 15 yard parking rule won't wash they will claim you are not just parking.

Its a lovely long lane and plenty others close by its a good days laning in the area.

welshlaner sounds like he konws whats going on. i dunno. i never been there! looks good though. it dont look to far from snowdonia NP so i may pay it a visit early next year.
