Girlies shouldn't be in the fast lane!Driving in the fast lane and loose all power is my fav
Ffs typical manGirlies shouldn't be in the fast lane!
Get back in the slow lane right now ffs.
just get them cleaned,or remove them altogether,if that is possible on your model. So had my gear box from fixed after rain got in and now I need a new egr valve on this piece of **** I think I'm done with these Landrovers . I'm up for a bit of abuse where are you all
The disco she has,is the D3,which has two egr valves fitted.Remove EGR valve, I have
I would stick with it. All the big modern cars are quite complex, and will tend to require a certain amount of fettling. At least the landie parts are a bit more reasonably priced than the Jap or German equivalents. So had my gear box from fixed after rain got in and now I need a new egr valve on this piece of **** I think I'm done with these Landrovers . Remove them, blanking kit is about £15.00 and on pre 2006 D3 the engine management light won't even come on, I had the choice £250.00 to fit 1 new EGR then have the possibility of the other one going a few weeks later . No thanks!!! Bin them and plate them off .
Tbh I am mad with it but I to am hooked and wanting the disco 4 . It's a love hate relationship . Just bugs me I make it look good then something inside failsHi Sam
Dont blame you for wanting to chuck it in! My 14 odd months of Disco ownership have cost me almost £4k! IMO Not really acceptable for a 10 year old car that might drop its guts at any moment!
But I dont know what it is about Land Rovers, once you get hooked everything else seems boring/predicable!
I still want a Disco 4, when the budget allows, I must be mad!
But kudos to you for sticking with it, and this forum, so far! You didnt just throw in the towel and leave it at a dealers to fix, you sought help and got it, that gets my respect any day!
