Warning lights during braking

Just bought myself a 2001 Disco 2 and am putting together a list of things to fix. There are two things that concern me about the electrics:
1) SRS warning light comes on intermittently during driving and stays on until restarting engine. I'm hoping it's just a loose yellow connector.
2) Under medium/heavy braking, the TC, ABS, and HDC amber warning lights come on and three chimes sound. This condition resets when restarting engine. No ideas here.

The other issues are chopped windscreen, leaky front sunroof, key fob needs a refurb, bit of resistance at extremes of steering, side lights wired up stupidly (front n/s sidelight connected to the indicator bulb, haha)

Does anyone have any ideas on the two warning light issues? Cheers!

Chopped windscreen .... has somebody tried to fit a Series 1 Landy screen to a Disco 2?

Chipped windscreen is more like it .... I don't want to advise something which might be a tad underhanded or unlawful, but that broken screen happened recently when a lump of rubble fell off that skip wagon in front of you on that local dual carriageway .... didn't it? Could be an insurance job.

The only sure way of finding what's causing the lights is to get it plugged into a diagnostics unit.

Oops I meant chipped yeh - auto-correct!
I've found the sunroof guide so not too worried there.
I'll search on the the amigos - I've seen the term already but it wasn't specific to an issue caused by breaking. Maybe the fluid is just low or something, that would be a nice easy fix ;-) Yep diagnostics would be best. I have an OBD2 reader - does that connect up anywhere or does it need a more specialist bit of kit like Testbook at a dealer?

SRS light could be many things, check the connections under the drivers seat, sometimes when the seat is adjusted it can chaff the wires to the Seat belt restraints.
Failing that my money's on the rotary coupling, plenty available on Ebay

I read that if it's the rotary coupling then the horn won't work - is that right? I've not actually tested that yet. The steering wheel audio controls work fine.

Nope, I had a problem with the SRS light on the dash, everything worked as it should. Hawkeye diagnosed it as open airbag circuit or something like that.
£15 bargain for a coupler and problem sorted.

There is thread somewhere on it

Disco 2 is NOT OBD2 compliant - you may not get the results you want from an ordinary OBD2 scanner.

There are lesser options than Testbook: Nanocom, Hawkeye, Britpart Lynx, perhaps even a Terrafirma TF930 (iCarsoft i930 re-boxed).

OK sounds like a definite possibility then. Hopefully it will just be the yellow connectors but the rotary coupling wouldn't be the end of the world! Need to sort that as it's an MOT fail (its due in June)

Some updates:
1) leaky sunroof problem gone away - suspect I didn't close it properly
2) Jiggled about yellow wires under both front seats. SRS warning light not come on in a few days now, so problem gone away.
3) Jiggled about the ABS module and it's connectors, and each individual ABS sensor wire at the wheel hub/wheel arch areas. Three amigos not been since, even after trying to reproduce the fault by harsh braking/acceleration. HDC works too.
4) I suspected a steering issue as there was resistance/noise at full lock during reverse parking. Investigated each component of the steering and found no faults - in fact there is no detectable play in the system at all. So once again, problem gone away.

Looks like I've been lucky so far. Doesn't mean the problems have gone forever of course, but I just need them to go away for the MOT in June really ;-)
I suspect the car hadn't been driven in a while and needed to get moving again - might explain the steering.

Only really fault that needs attention now is the chipped windscreen. Also I wanna get a nanocomm or Hawkeye to diagnose future issues and activate my heated windscreen when I get it.
