Lane preservation in Warrickshire

GREEN LANE ASSOCIATION

We're looking for volunteers on a project in Warwickshire. Probably April 26/27th. It was resurfaced about 5 years ago and the lane itself is in good condition. The problem is certain persons who think it's ok to stray off the lane for a play. We're looking at putting some posts in to deter them. Has worked well in other areas.

I wouldn't make it an open invite.

You need to reply to Roger through the proper channels so there is some form of insurance i believe.

I'm not free and a bit gutted. I'd love to do something positive on the lanes instead of just being anti the anti's

I've posted in the redditch forum, and given the email address to get in touch with Roger. Hes also posted in the thread to give a little bit more info etc. I've got to see if I can reschedule that weekend so I can free uo the saturday to lend a hand.

Ginge, we may call in at Maccies on the A46 for a coffee and a little breakfast on the way. I'm checking with Roger what time he's planning on getting started, maybe once we know, anyone coming along could meet and all head up together?

ive just received an email from Roger, the warwickshire rep, to advise that this work is goimg to have to be postponed for now. He will keeo us updated as and when a new ate has been decided on.

so, anyone that is busy in 26th andd wanted ti help, may well get the chance a little later than originally planned.

works out quite well for me, I've got 3 days work now over that weekend.
