i have been reading for some time as to what 2" lift kit i can use for my disco 2. last few weeks i am hearing that britpart is getting better on the suspension products whereas terrafirma is not as good as they were before.
which lift kit should i use and any very recent experience with britpart lift kits? if you say terrafirma - there are TF227 / 228 etc - which is the best for green laning / offroading. i do tarmac miles only to reach lanes etc, disco 2 is not my daily driver.
thanks for your help

I've got the Terrafirma medium duty 2" springs on ours (just front as I chose to retain the air bags) and it rides well on and off road. I wouldn't bother with the heavy duty ones unless your adding a lot of kit to the vehicle.

I went for TF260 kit. Air to coil. +3 pro sport shocks and +2 HD springs.

Very pleased with it so far.

i have seen tf260 before and wondering why shocks would be 1 inch longer than the springs. is it not going to cause any issues during full articulation? i.e springs will pop out?

do you have any pictures with the lift kit?

I was concerned about that as well, but spoke to someone else who had put them through their paces and had no problems. Because it's a HD lift and I don't have heavy loads its more like 2 &1/2 lift anyway. Plus the +2 bump stops do their job.

This is with the lift and 265/70s

i am grabbing BFGs tomorrow (265 75 16) so need to order the lift kit too
how stiff are your HD springs and what is the offset of the rims?

Stiffer than normal (obviously) but I think they're fine. It's my daily driver and although perhaps a little stiffer over little bumps, it's still soft enough over bigger bumps. Mine is the family car and the missus has never complained so can't be that bad lol.

Wheels are ET25, so are spaced 30 mm from standard.
