Top rad pipe bleed screw

I have broken the bleed screw on the top rad pipe off has anyone managed to get the broken bit out

I have heard of people holding a blow torch to the end of a small flat head screw driver then inserting it into the remaining screw section. It melts enough off you to get a bit of grip to undo.

If it was me I would buy another top hose for £36.

I replaced top hose about 10 weeks ago

Get 2 self tapping screw in it, then just screwdriver/ bit metal to turn.. job done...

p.s then dump stupid plastic caps and replace with brass ones!

If it was me I would buy another top hose for £36.

I would do both of these things, and if the hot screwdriver works, take the new hose back for refund.

Been unable to find a brass screw for a Td5 have you got a link, mines got a pink stain around it but too scared to touch it lol
