I've tried all my local bolt suppliers, bearing suppliers, model shops etc but no joy.
I need a shim washer for the Sanden PXV16 8622 air con clutch on my 2004 Freelander TD4. I gather the PXV16 is used on a few other Landy models- it's the one with a blue sticker like this:
I have replaced the clutch bearing but the air gap between the clutch plates has changed and the current shim is not thick enough, so I need more to pack it out. It has external diameter of 12mm, internal of 8mm and mine is 1mm thick or so.
Anyone know anywhere I can find anything? I've tried Google til my fingers bled but nothing. Or does anyone have any knackered air con pumps they can get the shims out from?
I really need to get this sorted so I can replace the belts and get the AC working again, and it needs doing soon as I have to find where the other bearing noises are coming from- I have all the replacement tensioners and idlers, but need to check water pump and alternator as well.
Thanks a lot!
(ps, I would burn it, but have you seen the cost of petrol nowadays...?)
