I took my Landy for its MOT and had to go straight from work. I wear at skirt at work. I have mentioned before the difficulties of getting into a Landy wearing these items of clothing

I scared the poor lad at the MOT station to death getting in and out of it

And I split my skirt :doh:

I shall of course try not to add to the calamities that occur at the workshop tomorrow

As for getting in and out of a land rover in a skirt Sue there is a technique- but it takes some practise and in my case it helps if you don't get your high heel caught between the rock sliders as you exit

Well if Zip is at the workshop tomorrow, and you wear a skirt, I shall ask him to video this technique Although if anyone else reads this there could be more volunteers

My rocksliders are just one piece of metal, they dont have the tree slider bit, so they dont work very well as a step

Almost finished the final bits today, on my own as Neil was busy with Dave

Drained water out and filled with antifreeze, did get advice from Zip about this but I did it myself . I would have put the new heater plug in too. I bought one, took the old one out, found they had sold me the wrong thing and refitted the old one Still I did that on my own, so have learned something

Sarah did not wear a skirt so no videos of that. No dramas like oil slick or fires either

PMSL! It's just made my morning catching up on this thread. Any time you ladies feel like wearing skirts and high heels to work on the Landys, then it will be worth the just-over-an-hour drive to the workshop! (complete with some more "advice tokens")
