Big Grommet

I need a large flexible Grommet that the main harness on Discovery 300 tdi (or possibly V8) goes thru at the bulkhead , it is an oval shape. It will probably need to chop harness in half to get off !! Must be in good condition

wouldnt it be easier to cut grommet then use the cut on the top

Its a tubular grommet , so if you cut it does not seal as it should

I should have one on my breaker.
The dash is already removed so if it looks alright you can have it for postage cost.

The grommet that I thjought I had sourced has turned out to be U/S

Its a tubular grommet , so if you cut it does not seal as it should

If it went into the hole it will cum out of the hole, You just got to be smarter than the gromment

The grommet is not the problem its getting hold of one , as I need it to fill a hole that was modded to fit a efi V8 harness thru the bulkhead on a 110 , I need another one as I am now fitting a BMW M57 turbo diesel to the same vehicle .

Here we take and drive to the auto parts store and ask you got one of these and they look and find it no problem. Really a pretty generic item used in 100's of applications

Please only reply to posts if you have something positive to contribute , as i am fully aware of what generic items are out there, and if you knew which grommet I was refering to then you would know there is nothing generic about it , hence why I am asking on a forum for one , no offence intended

still need this grommet , surely someone must have one ?
