Loads of you out there have resprayed your landys.. I am going to give mine a full respray when I have it stripped down. Just wondering how much paint I should order?

6 Litres of Slate Grey to do my 90 with 4 or 5 coats in places. Everything was resprayed, under bonnet, inside tub, inside front seating...
Remember for a sweet job its all about the preparation.
Good luck.

I used metal paint from homebase, oxford blue, came up really nice 2 coats on top of a light sanding...to be honest if your landy is as old and used as mine (1984) then its a cracking job...as said before the more prep work the better...its personal choice...mines used a bit for laning so gets scratched often and i just re-paint...if you want a perfect finish, more prep and more coats. Good look, i enjoyed doing mine.

Thanks guys, looks like I'm going to be busy over the coming weeks!
Think I'm going to go with the satin black respray, I like that look and I have heard it is more forgiving. Only thing is do I go for black chequer plate or is that too black?

Us a black primer as it won't show scratches as quickly as a lighter colored primer would. A dark gray like charcoal gray
