Owned rather a lot of Land Rovers over the years. My first was an early Range Rover Lomas Ambulance which I took everywhere.
Then I ended up with "Lilly" a 1960 ser II 88 FFW, well thats what it started as... . It had a certain notoriety and appeared occasionally in 4x4 Mag and IOR.
Hello mousemat, did you get any joy with Storey-Wilson, I paid for EAS V4 installed it on a Toughbook windows7 all drivers say they are installed but will not recognise the dongle and will not update just keep saying the whyupdate does not work. I have emailed him but nothing and from past experience he is ****e at replying. Did you manage to get yours working?
wonder what your thoughts are? I've never even looked over, let alone driven an X5. I am sure it's lovely (owned BMW's when I was younger and bloody loved em).
Cheers
PS - Sorry for all the messages, wouldn't let me post more than 420 characters
Seems to have been cherished by a knowledgable owner, swirl flap delete. new brakes front and back, new HP Dueller tyres x4. Says it's been loved. £4000.
Seems cheap but I know people are struggling to sell so that may not be a red flag. Lot of car for that money if not.
I've just been offered a 2009 X5 M Sport (35D) in black. 145k miles but lot of work done. Complete new suspension, airbags, pipework, compressor. All injectors he said replaced but need to check that as I am told the only proper ones are £1000 each due to only Bosch being able to replace the important bit (Piezo crystal).
Hiya, really interesting post thank you. I don't want to post this publicly because I suspect people will get funny about Beemer talk on here . Curious - you're not in Cornwall are you?
