Hi, we own and are restoring XVC935X, the green Monteverdi, I was wondering if you could provide me with any information from the time your family owned it. Did you know it was originally owned and used by Land Rover as a development vehicle and was used as a styling exercise, hence the Monteverdi decals on the front wings? Kind regards, Ant
Hola Grupo me presento, soy Juanillo y ahora tengo un Rangy P38 2.5 DSE que me encanta, he tenido un Clasic 2,4 diesel del 88 y tambien un Clasic V8 del 84, tambien tengo un Jeep Cherokee XJ. A mi P38 no dejo que lo toque nadie yo con ayuda de foros y amigos, hago lo que sea por mantenerlo en activo, espero aprender con vosotros y si puedo ayudar mejor, un abrazucu Amigos desde Cartes, Cantabria, España.

In have a freelander currently on a Caribbean island with a bad rear diff . can i delete the rwd --looking to convert my freelander to 2wd front wheel drive,, do you know what had to be done ?
Update. Oil sludge blocking strainer in the sump meant zero oil being pumped into the engine, causing the engine to stop & as a result the turbo is in bad shape with way too much play in it to be safe. Engine now turning but new turbo will cost around £900 inc vat. I don't want to risk a second hand one as don't know what to look out for & there are a few it could be (can't make out the numbers on existing one).

I just recently bought a 2001 td5 discovery 2 auto.

If I put my foot down, the revs pulse and it feels as if there virtually no power at all, almost like the turbo isn’t working or it’s in limp mode or something. It has been fine the past month i’ve had it and only just started having this issue. hoping it’s nothing too serious! any suggestions?

I suggest you post this on the Land Rover Discovery part of the forum where you'll get help.
For my money I'd check/clean/buy a new MAP/Iat sensor. After having disconnected the MAF and run with it like that to see if it helps.

(I have had the same problem, diagnosed on here when I gave live data (Foxwell) while driving it. New sensor fixed it.)
