Problem solved, all 4 glow plugs were out.

Thank you for the answer. My Freelander 1 is 2001 BMW engine, 1951 cm3 , 80kw, battery is Bosh brand new.I will have the glow plugs checked and the relay then let you know if the problem is fixed.
