found a quick way to get the s3 upto temp when flushing the rad..use the emergency tin foil blanket from a first aid box .put it behind the grill..run it around the block 3-5 minutes its up to temp so the fluids start going around the engine.collybobs

hello to all you experts i have bought a '76 series 3 and am already obsessed with getting it running perfectly i have a feeling its going to be like finding the end of a rainbow....colly located new forest.

still working out how to introduce myself but thanks for the reply i will try that the problem is the series 3 take soooooo long to get up to temp esp at the moment anyway thanks from the new boy with a '76 series 3 in the new forest i will get out there once the rain slows a bit.

after flushing my rad on a series 3 1976 and draining it only five litters of cooland and water 50/50 would fit back in do i need to run the engine until its warm? thanks:)
