I did suspect that, but everybody was just saying to me, "oh they just need a bit of oil". I have been looking at replacement springs, are parabolics any good? or should I just put new leaf springs on? The parabolics I was looking at were good quality rocky mountain ones.

Right found a 300Tdi thats going to go in sometime in the next two weeks. What do you reckon to these rear spring hangers, should they be on a right angle?

I had heard of those, but I doubt thats on mine as its from 1981 and the turbo is not that old. The only reason I would put the 2.5 in is because that there is one ready and it will be fitted, with warranty. What do you guys reckon to my rear springs?

Worcestershire Yea, ill ask the bloke whos got the 2.5 if he has any 200s around, he is a professional restorer. ive heard the 300tdi fits aswell, with a bit of a jiggle?

You reckon? Ill get the new bearings and try it then, in N/A form that is. I did think that would I cant find many 200tdis that have a warranty like the 2.5N/A that I've found
