:vb-headbang: OMG, that's outrageous, especially that it's called "connector cable"o_O... i can't imagine how LR thought to sell such thing, in the pictures i saw they had termnals too, i'm stumped and dont know what to say
That's not a good ideea cos the fan will come on together with the compressor on AC compressor request while the fan is supposed to work even with compressor off if the pressure went high in the system but then the compressor will not go off when needed cos it will be activated by the fan...
Which means that when you lock the diff the ECUs get the low input so when the transfer case is in high the engine ECU goes to the low gear fuel map and the engine is overfuelled also the SLABS ECU doesnt know that the diff is locked to addapt it's activity to that unless you spliced into the...
Hi, if it was on level and dropped after you disconnected battery it definitely means that there is a bag leak, if they are old better replace them both with new or the compressor will suffer and fail eventually
Hi, once the glow plugs were ruled out you must make sure if they get power too or not cos the waarning light will work normally even if power dosnt reach theplugs so unplug the the one which is easyer to reach and check for voltage in the plug while the warnig light is on
if that's confirmed...
Engine mounts are in the "only genuine LR to be used" cathegory... all the others(the "OEM" scam included) are a lottery.... with the same chance to win so your choice but be aware that it's not a very easy job to replace, the left one especially
IIRC(i'm not 100%sure) the ERR6493 pulley doesnt need a bracket cos the compressor has one, you have to remove the compressor and it's mounting bracket and you'll see
I bought THESE for my wife's car(the guineea pig for chinese bits ) then i bought another set for my D2 cos they are well made and i'm pleased with them, nothing wrong with chinese stuff these days and IMO better ideea than the idiotic LR type.
My method was to unplug the external air temp sensor(which is in front behind the grille) then the system's default is to switch the fan on every time the AC is on... that reading was never accurate anyway and i dont need it
