Finally got round to testing it and good news i got a working VCU. Result, now all i need to do is get the rubber damper sorted. Anyone got a bust VCU with a usable rubber damper they would like to pass my way? Failing that does anyone know of any brakers near Lincoln? I haven't live in this...

If the rain ever stops I'ii check it, either way its coming off this week. I assume you can still test it off the car? How much movement should i expect?

Hi All, I’ve read through a few threads on seized VCU’s but I am not sure if my problem is very common. Whilst fighting my way through torrential rain the other day I hit a large puddle at about 50mph, did a little aquaplaning and then bang, bang, bang, bang. I guess both front wheels lost...
