    Had the same problem. Intake manifold gasket was split. If you have a bad restart, that's worth checking. Waterdude has a brilliant how-to thread (search his posts).

    I had a 'stalling and bad re-start' problem. Turns out it was a split in the intake manifold gasket. Too much air rushing in. Hopefully it's not that. Pain in the hole to sort. According to my mechanic...

    Holy crapola! Just checked the tyres.... they're at 3 bar (43psi)! Yes, all four of them. I've to take a run into Edinburgh today, so I'll see what difference reducing the pressure makes. Thanks for the advice. The things you don't think to check....

    It's a '95, R-plated, 4.0 SE Auto. It's petrol with an LPG kit on it. The main problem's a feeling of drifting. It's a bit like you've hit a tiny patch of ice and have to re-adjust to keep straight. I'm hoping it's just the tracking... There's also a fairly severe judder when you pass through...

    Hi everyone

    From a Biggar-based Range Rover owner. Though only just, on both counts, since I've only had my R-plate for two days and am still in the process of moving from Edinburgh! (hence the username..) Looking forward to getting to know both folk on here and a bit more about all things Land Rover.
