Hi and thanks for advice, have now solved the problem. The bottom hose from the intercooler was leaking, ( defective hose clamp ) replaced clamp and wow what a difference, pulls well even from cold. Can only think that when engine was cold the hose would be hard and leaking but when warmed up...
