Defender 90 Overheating
No funny smells, exhaust is routed under passenger side. The gear lever and low ratio lever remain cold..the handbrake lever and gaiter get V. hot.....the driver's seat box gets as hot as a central heating radiator. Only happened on the motorway at 70MPH. Defender 90 Overheating
Just bought a defender 90 (2010) and drove 300 motorway miles...all good apart from very hot inside..had to drive with both windows open. Driver,s seat box gets very hot...had a look underneath...nothing obvious...gearbox was not too hot!! Suspect the transmission tunnel was letting hot air from...- blueduncan321
