Further to last post. Tried flying lead straight on to the starter and had no joy. Removed starter put on the bench put 12 volts on it and worked ok. Refitted to car still won't turn over. Then i put the car into first with ignition off and rocked it tried again car started and has been ok...

No not tried that yet. If it does start what would be the problem? Immobiliser or ignition switch fault? If its doesn't start i take it that i have a faulty starter motor even though its new today
